On-the-job Training
I don't exactly remember when we started feeding Ayla baby food. It was November or maybe October. The early February performance review I received from Ayla indicated that I was falling short in my duties in one critical area: creating post-meal, mush-some-food-around opportunities. Yes, that's right, I hadn't once, in three months, slopped some food down on the high chair tray and let her go wild. So I finally did it.
She might have been a little happy.
